#STARSchat – Supporting Students & Colleagues Alongside Mental Health

This will be a great opportunity to build ally-ships with like-minded educators, while discussing how to challenge/disrupt stigma surrounding mental health in the classroom.

STARS Regina is excited to be partnering with the University of Regina's Muslim Student Association for a professional development event focused on learning about Islam and supporting Muslim students. UR STARS is excited to be offering subject specific sessions focused on ways to authentically integrate Treaty Education into the classroom. Chauntel Baudu is a respected instructor at the University of Regina who has championed anti-oppressive education; she will present on integrating Treaty Education into English Language Arts and will share ways in which she has successfully brought this learning into the classroom.
